School of Computing And Engineering Technology (SCET) strives to provide a fun learning experience for the students and prepare them for the job market according to the needs of industry. Therefore, the curriculum is constantly updated from time to time based on the guidelines set by the MQA and the guidance from academic and industry experts.

  • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
    • Passed SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) CREDITS including MATHEMATICS; OR
    • Passed STPM or equivalent; OR
    • Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR
    • Passed Vocational and Technical / Skill Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and recognised or equivalent qualification.
  • CAREER PROSPECTS
    • Computer Forensics Assistant Investigator / Programmer / Computer Security Auditor / Computer Security Program Designer / Technical Support Staff / Security Applications Assistant Officer / IT Entrepreneur

  • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
    • Passed SPM or equivalent with at least THREE (3) Credits in any subjects; OR
    • Passed STPM or equivalent; OR
    • Passed Engineering / Engineering Technology Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and recognised or equivalent; OR
    • Passed Vocational and Technical / Skill Certificate (Level 3, MQF) and recognised or equivalent qualification.

    • For international students, Score Test of English as a Foreign Language(TOEFL) 500 OR Score International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.0 OR equivalent qualification.

    • Technician / Senior Technician / Assistant Engineer / Project Supervisor (involves the monitoring / supervision, fault repair, installation of electrical equipment and circuits and systematic planning of electrical projects)
